Ibiza restaurants enjoys a tremendous variety of excellent places to eat, many are known for their traditional Mediterranean style cuisine that is old Ibiza. Be it homely rustic restaurants,
chilled and classy beach cafes or extravagant high-end eateries, there's something for all budgets, occasions and persuasions on this island.

Almost all the Ibiza restaurants have a sidewalk table area, a terrace or garden with swift and professional service, as almost nobody wants to eat indoors on those sultry warm summer nights.

Les Passadis
Situated in the heart of Ibiza Town’s gay district, one of the few Italian rustic Ibiza restaurants Es Passadis offers a traditional menu. Delicately balanced but rich in rustic flavour, their homemade pasta dishes kick some serious punch but their authentic oven baked pizzas aren’t to be ignored. Baked in their Italian wood oven, there are many classic varieties to ruse over. Don’t forget to check the daily specials either.

El Pirata
Overlooking the port, El Pirata’s renowned thin crust pizzas make a perfect option for either a shared meal in lively convivial surroundings or a tasty snack on the run. Owner Gualtiero selectively imports his ingredients direct from Italy, which has much to do with their naturally wholesome flavour. Their sister restaurant next to Burger King kicks a mean all-day full English too.

La Barraca
Nestled on the picturesque shores of Tlamanca, La Barraca is a beautifully romantic setting with the choice of the al fresco, palm sheltered terrace or a candle-lit veranda overlooking the seas. The luxurious menu is a food lover’s dream with fish their speciality. We recommend the cod confit with potato cream or the Spanish red lobster if you’re feeling flush.

La Brasa
Leaning quietly amongst the castle walls, La Brasa is another rustic, romantic setting blessed with a quaint – if somewhat cramped – palm fronded garden. Expectantly priced, the diverse menu is comprised of fresh market produce. The fish are straight from the tank.

Macao Cafe
A popular bistro/wine bar overlooking Ibiza’s marina, Macao Cafe’s menu is a fusion of Italian and Mediterranean cuisines with the wasabi tuna steak and con with deep fried courgettes coming in for special mentions. Sa Punta
Tucked blissfully away on the far end of Talamanca, Sa Punta might not be cheap but you get what you pay for. In this case, some of the finest seafood from Ibiza restaurants on the island (in particular the muscles). The view frames Ibiza Town’s port in all its twinkling moonlit ambience come nighttime too. Thai’D Up
Thai’d Up is a friendly, perfectly formed Thai restaurant in Ibiza Town. Elegant in decor, the interior details a rustic Ibizan charm with intricate South Asian flourishes, whilst the menu offers a classic platter of authentic Thai cuisine-the head has been imported direct from Chang Mai. The red beef curry gets our heads-up but pretty much everything slips down easily –particularly with a crisp, cool Asian beer – and it won’t rinse your pockets either.

Bambudda Grove
One of the most charming from all Ibiza restaurants dining options, Bambuddan Grove is set inside a replica Balinese ‘banjak’ (that’s an Indonesian canteen) and encased in a lush rim of bamboo. A divine setting, the menu is equally unique with East and West – or MediterrAsian as they’ve coined it – melding into a truly cosmic culinary fusion. Main courses can clock in at around 30 euro so it’s not cheap but with the care and attention that’s poured into these delicacies you won’t begrudge the extravagance.

Nestled beneath the hills in the Santa Eulalia suburbs, this modern Italian restaurant is a mighty rare thing from all Ibiza restaurants – a classy, high-end dining experience with prices that won’t break and a vibe that’s effortlessly unpretentious. David’s Pizzeria
Living in San Antonio? Like pizza? Then look no further than David’s where the extensive menu will satisfy pizza addicts of all persuasions, whilst mouthwatering treats like their homemade lasagna and salmon pasta provide solid alternatives. A short walk – or stumble – from Cafe Mambo, David’s is an affordable and delicious start to any evening with a set menu gifting you a starter, a beer, a pizza, a desert and a shot for just over 10 euro. An impressively decadent garden restaurant, one of the pleasant either from Ibiza restaurants Villa Mercedes is as plush as it gets in San Antonio. Tessellated stone pillars and rococo furnishings grant it a Miami mansion vibe, whilst flamenco legend Paco Fernandez routinely provides the musical ambience. The Karma Bar provides a Moroccan styled post-work, pre-dinner wind down, whilst the food itself is out of this world – check the tuna steak for some mouthwatering action.

The legendary Pikes hotel might be best known for hosting Wham’s Club Tropicana’video but it’s also home to a charming, intimate restaurant. The Jockey Club
A leisurely luxury beach bar/cafe, ocean side dining doesn’t come much classier – or chilled – than this. Resting in the heart of Salinas – the essence of Ibizan beach life for many – the Jockey Club is a gorgeous wooden shank blessed with some of the finest freshly caught seafood on the Ibiza restaurants so keep an eye on the specials board for the day’s haul. It’s expectantly pricey though so expect some damage if you’re pigging out.
